BC Facilitation was established in 2006 by Björn Cullman, an executive with many years of experience as Country Manager in two continents for different multinational companies. Besides being the director of the company, he teaches International Business and Management and Negotiation Techniques, at MBA level, in a well-known international Business School in Barcelona, Spain.
The company has as its objective to assist Executives, Business and Professional People in their endeavour to enhance their Business English.
The typical BC Facilitation student is a Managing Director or a First Line Director with a Spanish subsidiary of a foreign multinational company or with a domestic large or medium-sized company that has a significant part of its business abroad or is expanding into foreign markets. 95% of our students are between 40 and 60 years old. The same is true for our facilitators.
In order to fulfil our objective, BC Facilitation relies on a network of native experienced multinational and specialised trainers.
Our vision clearly includes training with cultural awareness, something possible only with international and multicultural trainers with international company, consulting or Business School lecturing background.
BC Facilitation differentiates itself from other training institutes by specialising in Executive Business English. Our experience tells us it is not sufficient for an English teacher merely to have a certificate for teaching English. Our facilitators come from the business world and speak the students’ “language”. We make use of state-of-the art multimedia technology, thereby boosting our students’ international presentation and meeting skills. It goes without saying, General and Social English will almost always be present to some extent in our executive participants’ programmes.
The courses are held at our five Executive Language Training Centres, embracing Spain´s business capitals:
In the Barcelona region, courses take place in either a magnificent 12th century rural mansion or in a 16th century house. Both places are located in front of the impressive Montserrat mountain ridge in rural Catalonia, with its generous climate and exquisite gastronomy.
In the Madrid region, courses take place in the peaceful and inspiring medieval village of Sigüenza, located in Guadalajara province, in an 18th century mansion in the heart of Castile-La Mancha.
A 20 minutes car ride from Valencia, an ancient country house awaits you in the midst of 40 hectares of orange trees, and near Bilbao and other important business centres in the region, you will be able to perfect your Business or General English surrounded by the world-famous vineyards of Haro in La Rioja. We guarantee inspiring and quiet surroundings, giving you a head start in improving your English.
